Glutathione Facial Bar with Rice Bran

This Glutathione Facial Bar is the second Mars Made product I've tried. I loved the other, a bar shampoo and I love this one too.First off, the bar shape is very interesting and ergonomic. I like the way it feels in my hands and that's important to me with soap/bars.Second, both products were interesting. The other was a black charcoal shampoo bar and this is a facial cleansing bar that smelled good and left my face feeling very soft and clean. I have used a lot of facial products over the last few years and can say that though I like many of them, this one has really left a very positive impression ... more than most and many of those products were far more expensive.

As others have stated, I'm so glad to know about this brand now. I also received their shampoo & conditioner bars which worked so well that I tried their facial soap too, and wow—it’s super gentle, leaves my skin soft, and lathers so nicely. I love that it’s made with clean ingredients, smells light and fresh, and the shape actually makes it easy to use. These bars last forever and feel so good to use, honestly can’t recommend them enough!

Using this bar of soap is like a massage for the face! It is designed to target areas of the face while cleaning and moisturizing the skin. And it works! It is very gentle on skin, but after each use, my skin feels refreshed and hydrated. Not to mention how relaxing it is to use when treated like a massage.Personally, I have not noticed a difference in skin tone in the week that I have been using this product, but that could probably just come with more time. But either way, this soap provides a great clean and leaves skin feeling great!

I ordered this because I have times when I'd like to simplify my cleansing routine (when I travel and when I'm very tired), and this bar works really well for those times.It lathers softly and rinses well, and leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. I do feel like I could skip a watery/cleansing/astringent toner after this, and go straight to a moisturizing/treatment toner, serum, and so on. It has a very light fragrance to it that is not offensive or strong even to my sensitive sense of smell.It's just a personal preference based on my skin type and the ritual of my usual cleansing routine, but as much as I like this for convenience and ease, I'm not tempted to entirely replace my usual cleansers with it. I'll absolutely use it when traveling light and when I need to simplify my routine.

The MARS MADE Glutathione Facial Bar has a creamy lather that cleans without making my skin feel tight or dry. It has a light scent that fades quickly and feels fresh. The rice bran adds a mild exfoliating effect that makes my skin smoother over time. I like that it is vegan and made for all skin types. It rinses off easily without leaving any residue. The bar is a good size and seems to last a while even with daily use. It is also easy to pack for travel since it is solid and does not spill. Overall it is a gentle and moisturizing facial soap that works well for everyday cleansing.
